The initial consultation inspired me to begin small steps straight way. The coaching plan that Joanne created reflected our conversation exactly and there was nothing unexpected or difficult on there. I put everything on the coaching plan into practice and literally within 2 weeks it felt an easy part of my routine and I began to feel stretchier, stronger and also more awake and alert than I did before. The alertness was a surprise, but this helped me be more focused and continue to be enthusiastic about the plan.

After one month:
It has now been a month since I started the plan and I’ve lost 10lbs! I haven't been this weight since 2019. I have really noticed that I have lost most of the belly fat and I feel so much lighter. I can really feel that I am carrying less. Being lighter is helping me be more active. I am clearly much more flexible and stronger than I have been for years. My core is getting stronger and I can feel it when I walk up stairs, get in and out of the car, up and down from a chair - simple things that felt harder just a few weeks ago.

After 6 months:

6 months on and I am a stable and healthy 8 and a half stone – one stone lighter than I was at the initial consultation. I am still following the diet and exercise guidance and this seems to keep me stretchy and pain free. My energy is definitely better than 6 months ago and this makes me more effective at home and work.

I have spent most of my life filled with anxiety, which could be, at times all-consuming and debilitating.  Joanne discussed certain issues that were affecting me and offered some alternative approaches to the problems which were helpful, but more importantly she subtly got me to look at the attitudes that had got me to this place, and offered an alternative, and more positive approach which I will take with me in the future.
